SAP Logistics & Operations Consultant (Order-to-Fulfillment)

As an SAP Logistics & Operations Consultant, you will support, enhance, and optimize the SAP processes that keep logistics, warehousing, production, and transport running smoothly for a global market leader in chemical and ingredients distribution, operating across dozens of countries and serving hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide.

You will work across the SAP LES, WM, PP, QM, and TM modules, ensuring stable system operations while helping the business evolve its logistics processes as part of an ongoing SAP S/4HANA transformation.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Business Consulting & Process Management: Advise Logistics, Warehousing, Production, Quality, and Transport Management teams on best practices. Analyze, evaluate, and optimize existing business processes, designing solution concepts that meet both business and technical requirements.
• SAP System Support & Configuration: Configure, customize, and maintain the SAP LES, WM, PP, QM, and TM modules. Ensure stable, reliable system operations, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate issue resolution. Support integrations with related modules such as SD, FI/CO, and EH&S.
• Incident & Change Management: Provide second- and third-level support for logistics and operations applications. Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests, and support business key users in adopting improved processes. Document requirements and changes using ServiceNow and SAP Cloud Application Management (CALM).
• Project Support: Participate in local and global SAP implementation, enhancement, and rollout projects. Support the ongoing SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation, prepare functional and technical specifications, and execute system, integration, and user acceptance testing.

Your Skills and Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or comparable qualification.
• Several years of hands-on experience with SAP logistics modules, including exposure to both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Strong knowledge of Logistics, Warehousing, and Transport Management processes.
• Experience with SAP configuration/customizing, requirements management, and writing technical specifications for development.
• Knowledge of related SAP modules such as FI/CO and SD is a plus.
• Ability to read and debug ABAP code is an advantage.
• Experience with LSMW, SAP Workflow, or S/4 Flexible Workflow is a plus.
• Proven experience working in project environments and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Analytical, process-oriented mindset with excellent communication and consulting skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in international, cross-functional environments.
• Experience in the chemical distribution industry is a plus.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
