SAP Logistics Senior Consultant

As an SAP Logistics Senior Consultant, you will design, implement, and support SAP solutions across Materials Management (MM) and Logistics Execution (LE), covering the end-to-end purchasing and logistics execution processes to optimize procurement, supply chain, and distribution workflows.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless integration and functionality across the SAP landscape. You will also take part in customer projects and in the development of in-house products, which deliver best-practice SAP solutions and workflows to our customers.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- SAP Logistics & Procurement: Configure and manage the SAP MM and LE modules, including procurement processes, inventory management, logistics execution, shipping, route determination, and warehouse operations.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system designs for logistics and purchasing capabilities.
- Solution Design and Implementation: Design and implement solutions that enhance logistics, inbound/outbound execution, and procurement processes, in line with business goals and industry best practices.
- System Integration: Work closely with other SAP modules (such as SD, FI, CO, and EWM/WM) and with external third-party logistics (3PL) systems via EDI/IDocs to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues in SAP purchasing and logistics processes, providing timely and effective solutions that minimize business disruption.
Your Skills and Experiences:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP MM and SAP LE (Logistics Execution) configuration and customization.
- Proficiency in SAP Purchasing, Inventory Management, Inbound/Outbound Shipping, and Delivery Processing.
- Strong integration experience with other SAP modules (SD, FI/CO, WM/EWM) and logistics interfaces (3PL / EDI).
- Experience with Batch Management and Serial Number Management in logistics operations.
- Knowledge of agile project tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- SAP certification(s) in relevant areas (MM, Supply Chain, or Logistics) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
