Salesforce Business Analyst
Porto · Senior · Full-time
You will turn complex business needs from senior global stakeholders into structured, development-ready requirements for a Commercial Platform. You will have a direct impact on bringing order to competing global and regional inputs, ensuring technical decisions stay connected to business process and value.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Map current and target business processes, user journeys, roles, decision points, and information needs across regions.
- Translate validated needs into process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, data requirements, and supporting documentation.
- Professionally manage senior commercial and technical stakeholders, challenging ambiguity and resolving conflicting input.
- Make trade-offs visible, document constraints and dependencies clearly, and drive timely decisions with the Product Owner or relevant stakeholders.
- Independently organize discovery and analysis work, breaking complex topics into deliverable increments and requesting prioritization when direction or capacity is constrained.
- Clarify account structures, data ownership, hierarchy, quality, access, integration, and reporting requirements across global key accounts.
- Build bridges across architects, developers, data teams, UX, and adjacent product teams, avoiding duplicated or conflicting solutions.
- Support backlog refinement, Definition of Ready, business validation, and UAT while maintaining traceability from problem through delivery and acceptance.
Your Skills and Experiences:
- Solid, production-proven experience (5+ years) as a Business Analyst in CRM, digital products, or complex enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work confidently and professionally with senior business and technology stakeholders, translating technical information into business impact, value, risk, and outcomes.
- Strong experience documenting options, constraints, dependencies, trade-offs, decisions, process models, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Highly self-organized and proactive, able to structure ambiguity into manageable increments and manage multiple workstreams with limited supervision.
- Experience collaborating across Product Owners, architects, developers, testers, data teams, and adjacent product or platform teams.
- Understanding of CRM data models, account hierarchies, roles, permissions, integrations, and data quality considerations.
- Practical experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools.
- Experience with Salesforce or another enterprise CRM or commercial platform, and knowledge of Scrum or Kanban, is a strong advantage.
- Experience in a global, matrixed, B2B organization with strategic account management, and certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA, are a plus.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with an autonomous and problem-solving mindset.
